Do You Remember?
Do you remember when TV was good and wholesome and not filled with rubbish adverts about things like leg vein treatment? I’m talking about The Waltons and Little House On The Prairie. Those good, family, home-grown shows. TV which made you smile. TV which filled you with warm camp-fire memories and made you reminisce back to childhood times gone by–
But all that’s gone now that we have shows like the atrociously embarrassing Embarrassing Bodies. A show which is ruining the lives of teenagers on a weekly basis, making the living room a place to fear and loathe.
How is it ruining their lives you might ask? Simple! Poor teenagers are sitting there with their parents one minute, eating dinner and talking about how school’s going, and the next a man with a penis that resembles a toxic beetroot is forcing his way in to the living room. He’s standing there parading himself for all to see, as if his toxic penis is something to be oh so proud of!
It’s a disgrace.
Now, I realize that these poor toxic people have got to get themselves checked out, I do, I get that. But haven’t they ever heard of the saying “behind closed doors”? Or what should be “people with toxic body parts should stay behind closed doors”. And it’s not as if these shows are going to stop any time soon, no. Us British love a bit of embarrassment, so we have years of this left. How shameful it is.
